The Book Of Mormon (Nov 17-22)
Called “the best musical of this century” by The New York Times, The Book Of Mormon is the Tony Award-winning musical from the creators of South Park. It’s the comedic story of two young missionaries sent to Uganda where a brutal warlord is threatening the locals. Naïve and optimistic, the two unsuccessfully try to share the Book of Mormon’s scriptures.
10th Anniversary Williams Route 66 Marathon (Nov 21-22)
This 26.2-mile race traverses the historic and scenic streets of Tulsa. Not up for the full 10k? Other events include a half marathon, relays, a fun run and walk, and a zany mascot dash. Volunteer to raise money for five great local charities and you can run for free (sign up by Nov. 15). And be sure to check out the classic car show at the finish line.
America’s Got Talent All Start Tour! (Nov. 13)
Some of the most popular performers from the hit NBC variety competition are headed to Tulsa’s Brady Theater. Performers include Season 8 runner-up, comedian Taylor Williamson, along with Emily West, Kristef Brothers, Recycled Percussion, Blue Journey, and Smoothini.
