Must-Have Items for a Pool Party at Your Apartments for Rent in Owasso, OK

Warm weather is rolling in and residents of our apartments for rent in Owasso, OK can look forward to plenty of time in the sun to enjoy our resort-style pool. When you’re ready to get your friends or family together for a poolside afternoon, why not go all out and organize your own little pool party?

As long as you’re respectful of your neighbors’ right to enjoy the pool, a pool party can be a fun, casual event that gets you and your friends laughing, splashing, and playing. Here’s what you’ll need for the perfect pool party at our apartments for rent in Owasso.

Fun Floats

No pool party is complete without a couple of great pool floats. You can find these easily online in all shapes and sizes. Just imagine floating around the pool on the back of a popsicle or sitting pretty in an inflatable tube while soaking in the sun. Nothing is more relaxing than that.

Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker

As long as you’re not disturbing any of your neighbors, a waterproof bluetooth speaker can be a great addition to your pool party. You can easily find one for $15 and most models are super easy to use—just plug and play. Use it to play some relaxing tunes or old favorites that everyone will love.

Plenty of Towels

A large towel for everyone keeps everything comfy. Nothing puts a damper on a pool party more than not being able to dry off when you need to, or feeling chilly when a stiff breeze blows through your wet hair. Plus, if you want to avoid tracking water back into your luxury apartment in Tulsa, you’ll need to give yourself a nice thorough drying off beforehand.

A portable cooler is a great way to stay hydrated during your hours in the sun. Remember never to bring glass to the pool area, but a cooler full of sparkling water or soda makes sure your pool party is refreshing without having to go back inside to quench your thirst.

Perhaps most importantly, remember to bring plenty of sunblock! Each person’s skin has its own limits, but in general, you should reapply sunscreen at least every 2 hours, even when it’s cloudy. Make sure to choose a broad spectrum sunscreen (which means it blocks both UVA and UVB rays) of an SPF of at least 30 and that you apply it to dry skin, giving it a chance to dry for about 30 minutes before hopping back into the pool.
