Big Concerts Coming to Oklahoma in January

Here at 98 Apartments, we think part of being the premier apartments for rent in northeast Owasso means more than just well-designed spaces and awesome amenities. We have those, of course, but we also love taking good care of our residents. We love live music, too. So we wanted to tell you about some of the big, amazing concerts stopping in the Sooner state this month. 1. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, January 15

The Winstar World Casino welcomes superstars, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. Sure to include hits like "Thrift Shop" and "Downtown," this one-night-only performance will be held at the Winstar’s Global Event Center, a 3,500 seat venue in one the world's largest casinos.

2. Tank feat. Ginuwine, Jan 23

If you're a fan of R&B, you don't want to miss this exciting performance from Tank and Ginuwine at Riverwind Casino in Norman. Since the late 1990s, Tank and Ginuwine have produced dozens of hit songs and built a loyal following of fans. Come out and hear favorites like "Differences," "Maybe I Deserve," "In Those Jeans," and more.

3. Janet Jackson, January 27

The one and only Janet Jackson will perform at Tulsa's BOK Center. Her Unspeakable World Tour has been such a success that a second North American leg was added, including the Tulsa date. Expect hits like "No Sleep," the album's first single, as well as all-time favorites. Located in downtown Tulsa, the BOK Center is conveniently located near other attractions, restaurants, and lodging.

4. Kenny Rodgers, January 28

The Hard Rock Casino celebrates Kenny Rogers' illustrious career with his Through the Years World Tour. For seven decades, the country singer/songwriter has entertained audiences with his unique voice and songwriting in hits such as Lucille, The Gambler, and Coward of the County. Rogers became a crossover sensation when he performed Lionel Richie’s, Lady and the Bee-Gees duet, Islands in the Stream.

5. Lynyrd Skynyrd, January 29

Known as pioneers of southern rock in the 1970s, Lynyrd Skynyrd brings its down-home sound and amazing stage presence to Oklahoma. The group has been popular for decades and is known for hits like "Sweet Home Alabama," "Saturday Night Special," "Simple Man," and "Free Bird." Skynyrd rocks the Winstar World in Thackerville.
